Time Away

We have amazing friends who offered to keep our kids overnight so that Alasdair & I could get away, and a couple weeks after Alden was weaned, we took them up on it.  We went up to Killington to for one of the last ski days of the season (May 15!).  We had an incredible afternoon of skiing Superstar on soft snow in 70 degree sunshine, and the next day hiked up to Killington peak.  It's amazing how refreshing it is to get away for 30 hours, to have time to have fun and rest and talk and
not worry about little people.  

Of course, the kids had a blast and didn't want us to come home.  

I'm so thankful to have friends who love our kids.
