Just when we were starting to believe Spring would never come... the snow has started to melt! There is a patch of grass behind our house where the afternoon sun beats down, and every day it gets a little bit bigger. Up until last week, when I asked Emily if she wanted to play outside, she would beg to do shubbeling (shoveling); now she yells kicka socca ball! in da fieeld! The cats have even emerged from the basement after 3 long months. I cant help thinking that this is how Noah and his family must have felt when they finally put their feet on solid ground again.
