Does the ski season have to end?

This has been the best winter since we've had kids.
Some things have felt hard and uncertain lately, but I am taking so much joy in late season skiing with my family.

Today we went to an early Easter service and then to Whaleback for the last day of the season before the church Easter dinner.  It was warm and sunny, everyone was cheerful, and the five of us all skied together for the first time -  Alden skied greens and blues all by himself, Adara rode the lift without a grownup/older kid for the first time, and I taught Emily to duck and ski through my legs like my dad & I used to do when I was a kid.  I wish the season wasn't over yet!

The past few weeks we've been getting in our last days at Killington.

A couple weeks ago the girls and I took our first girls trip - last minute (planned at 5:30pm) trip to the condo for an overnight and a half day of skiing - had to get home in time for Daddy to catch a plane for a work trip. ;)

The condo didn't feel right without Mimi and Papa, though they felt much better once we put our fruit in the fruit bowl like Mimi does!

Tired them out enough that they were happy to hang in the lodge while I snuck in one OL run.

Then Alasdair & I had a ski date day.

And yesterday we went back with the Eshbaughs.
(Afterwards we ran into Nick at the health club!  So random and fun. :)
